Our story

Why Africa Invests exists

Because $96 billion flows home every year — and less than 4% of it gets invested.

Salifou Camara

I am African, and I live in Canada. I've worked for financial institutions like RBC and Scotiabank — and I've seen from the inside how wealth is actually built: not by luck, but by access, knowledge and discipline.

Every year, our diaspora sends $96 billion home. It covers school fees, medical bills, family emergencies — and that matters. But almost none of it builds lasting assets. Africa Invests exists to change that: to give Young Africans and the diaspora the education, tools and opportunities to turn income into ownership.

The Academy: structured courses, community and coaching that take you from spectator to investor.

Stage 3 · The future

A gateway to opportunities

The Opportunity Center: a trusted bridge connecting African and diaspora capital to real projects across the continent.
